Nokia 5730 XpressMusic Pink Mobile Phone

The Nokia 5730 XpressMusic pink mobile phone is the first smartphone centred on music from Nokia. In a move that will please fans of the QWERTY keyboard, the 5730 has a full keyboard that slides out from the phone making it much easier to text and email friends.

There has been some criticism levelled at the Nokia 5730 for basically just being a re-release of the older E75 with better music capabilities – but for many people that isn’t a problem. If the Nokia phone is to compete with the iPhone then having high quality music capabilities is a must so it isn’t surprising to see this addition to what was already a good phone. The advantage of this is that you get a phone that has great music features but also has a full range of communication options too which is what you really need your phone to have. 

Nokia 5730 Pink Mobile Phone Features

Some of the features of the Nokia 5730 XpressMusic include:

  • 16M colour display with a resolution of 240x320 pixels.
  • Full slide-out QWERTY keyboard.
  • Built in accelerometer.
  • GPS system with A-GPS support along with Nokia maps.
  • 3.15 MP camera - for some the lack of a high megapixel camera may be a problem.
  • The phone runs on the Symbian 60 operating system which provides all the features that you will need. The home interface has been redone – it is now possible to put up to 20 contacts on a quick contact bar as well as having access to all your most use applications.
  • The music features of the phone are what make it stand out from the crowd. A music player is built in as well as coming with stereo speakers. The phone also has a 3.5mm jack for connecting headphones and has a built in radio so it has all potions covered.
  • 128MB of RAM as well as a built in 140MB of memory. You can of course use Micro SD cards to expand this capacity should you need to store more songs on the phone.

 

Nokia 5730 Pink Style

As you’d expect, the Nokia 5730 is a very stylish phone that builds on the design features of the older Nokia 5800. Instead of having the fairly bland traditional range of colours the phone can be bought in the colours red, blue and pink so it will definitely stand out as being a bit different.

Overall the phone looks great and is about as modern as it comes – although the retro keyboard letters might be a problem for some.
